Reducing crime and the fear of crime transforms the quality of life for our residents. Crime affects everyone, determining how people view their homes and neighbourhoods and affecting the choices made in daily life.
Initiatives taken by the Hounslow police in tandem with both the council and the local community have helped to reduce almost all types of crime, according to figures from 2004/05, but such work is ongoing and requires vigilance and consideration from all members of the public.
