All babies born in the London borough of Hounslow, at home or in the hospital, must be registered with us within 42 days of the baby's birth.
If the parents are a married couple, only one parent has to come into the office to register the baby.
If an unmarried mother wishes to include the baby's father's details into the registration, he has to accompany her when registering.
The first certificate is free and full birth certificates can be purchased at the time of registering (the current price is £3.50 each).
To re-register births, conduct searches of historical birth certificates or purchase additional copies of the original full birth certificate after the time of registering, please contact us.
We are unable to offer baby naming ceremonies at this time.
