Translation Unit

The Council’s Translation Unit offers professional interpretation and translation services across a range of ethnic minority community languages as well as graphic design services.
A quick response can be provided for supported in-house languages. These are: Albanian, Arabic, Dari, Farsi, Gujarati, Hindi, Panjabi, Pashto Somali and Urdu.

School admission

If your child is starting at a new primary or secondary school next September, the School Admissions pages will help you choose a school.
There is also information available to help you if you are new to the borough and are applying for a place outside of the normal admissions time.

Paying bills

If you want to pay a bill online with your credit or debit card, you can use our Online Payments system.
Other methods of payment are available for certain services provided by the Council. Please see your invoice, contact the service provider or browse through our website for further information.
