The Money Advice Service
Established by the Financial Services Authority, when it comes to your money, their impartial information and tools can help you work out what’s right for you.
They have an online health check which acts as a money adviser. It only takes ten minutes to complete, and asks straightforward questions without the need for any financial information. Once completed you will instantly receive an easy-to-follow personalised action plan.
Money advice for young people
If you are between 16-24 years old, the Money Advice Service has a separate section for you. It deals with situations you are likely to be experiencing for the first time and contains tips and tools to help you make good decisions and point you in the right direction to get all the information you need to be in charge of your money.
Personal Finance Education Group (pfeg)
An independent charity helping schools to plan and teach personal finance relevant to students' lives and needs. Their mission is to ensure that all young people leaving school have the confidence, skills and knowledge in financial matters to participate fully in society. They provide free support, resources and expert consultancy to teachers and school leadership teams as well as working with government, opinion formers and key bodies with the aim of influencing education policy.

There are three Citizens Advice Bureaux (CAB) within the London borough of Hounslow that provide free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everybody, regardless of race, gender, sexuality and disability. Reception and personal callers
During hours detailed drop-in sessions are available for clients without appointments. Please note that a limited number of tickets are available during each session. We try to offer a basic information service (without advice) at reception for clients who do not arrive early enough to obtain a ticket. Appointments are available only for follow-up work for cases we are working on.Monday Evening Session for people in employment living and/or working in the Borough of Hounslow. Please check the web site for details of when we are open on a Monday evening.
Telephone advice
Telephone advice sessions are available during which it may be possible to provide immediate advice and solutions.
