Your new and improved recycling services!
New recycling services have been rolled out through the borough. This includes the introduction of household plastic packaging and food waste collection services.
New containers and information on the new services are being delivered to households, as well as a calendar showing your collection days.
You can now recycle the following items using your kerbside collection service:
Glass jars/bottles
Food tins/drinks cans
Aluminium foil
Aerosol containers
Cardboard
Telephone directories
Textiles and shoes
Engine oil
Car and household batteries
Food and drink cartons
Mobile phones and printer cartridges
Mixed plastics
Food waste
Garden waste
Paper using your new blue bag
Please use the containers provided to recycle your waste.
If you have not received you new containers please contact us.
If you live in a flat, please continue to use your existing recycling services. New recycling facilities for plastic and cardboard will be introduced later in the year.
