Hounslow Council

Graffiti

We have been working hard to remove graffiti all year round, and thanks to more local people reporting it, we’re removing graffiti more than ever.

To make sure were working hard, we have organised an entire week in the summer to tackling graffiti.

This will allow all the different people involved to focus on specific, high visibility graffiti and get everyone in the community involved.

Wipe Out Graffiti Week runs from 6 - 12 July and will see a small army of volunteers, council officers, partners and young people taking to the boroughs streets on the following days:

  • Monday 6 July – Chiswick

  • Tuesday 7 July – Isleworth and Brentford

  • Wednesday 8 July - Feltham

  • Thursday 9 July – Heston and Cranford

  • Friday 10 July – Hounslow

There will be intensive clean ups, ‘spot squads’ which will be out and about to record and report graffiti, test shopping to make sure businesses aren’t selling spray paints to underage customers, payback projects with young offenders cleaning up graffiti, and a range of talks and activities in schools.

If you want to get involved, email communications@hounslow.gov.uk to register your interest. We hope to get in touch with you soon and let you know what we’re doing and how we can help you.
