Hate crime can take many forms:
verbal abuse
physical abuse
graffiti
criminal damage to your home or property
threats to harm you, your friends or your family
intimidation
bullying
producing offensive printed material about you
Being subjected to this type of abuse because of your race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, age, gender identity or disability is a form of hate crime.
In Hounslow we have established a multi-agency Hate Crime Prevention Forum, a group that looks specifically at hate crime. This group is dedicated to raising awareness of the different forms of hate crime, encourage reporting hate crime, offering help and support to people being abused in this manner.
