We have been working hard to remove graffiti all year round, and thanks to more local people reporting it, we’re removing graffiti more than ever.
Over the summer we organised an entire week to tackle graffiti. This allowed all the different people involved to focus on specific, high visibility graffiti and got everyone in the community involved.
The week saw a graffiti hit squad made up of volunteers removed a mile of graffiti from Barnes Passage in Chiswick, which has been blighted by the problem for many years.
Isleworth, Feltham, Heston and Hounslow also had alleyways cleaned up by volunteers, working with young offenders working with the council’s contractors MPM Graffiti Solutions.
Hounslow Homes had a dedicated team of painters and caretakers wiping out graffiti on estates in Chiswick, Brentford, and Feltham, and residents joined in to paint out graffiti at Fraser House and Heston Farm.
Even after all this success we know there's still more to do, so if you see graffiti, report it, and we'll remove it.
