There are a number of different schemes and projects running locally in Hounslow and nationally to help you save money, reduce your carbon dioxide emissions and keep your home warm.
You can save up to £265 a year on your fuel bills by installing full loft and cavity wall insulation.
Warm Zones insulation grants
Grants and discounts for insulation are available for residents who own their home or rent it privately under a partnership with Warm Zones.
FREE home insulation for cavity walls and for full loft insulation is available (where 60mm or less loft insulation exists), regardless of your income. For residents who have more than 60mm of loft insulation, there are discounts on loft top-ups.
Warm Zones provide a free no obligation technical survey for insulation. It is worth taking advantage of this as the surveyors can check your eligibility for free insulation, then arrange for any required work to be installed. All grants are subject to funding and a technical survey.

Warm front
Warm Front is a government scheme that provides grants for heating and insulation improvements to households on certain income-related benefits living in properties that are poorly insulated and/or do not have a working central heating system. To find out if you are eligible visit the Warm Front Grant website or call free on 0800 316 2805.
Qualifying households can get improvements worth up to £3,500 (£6,000 where oil central heating and other alternative technologies are recommended).
