Hounslow Council

Green Guardian Awards

We are holding the first ever Green Guardian Awards for Hounslow this autumn.

The awards are to reward ordinary people, young and old, who are taking the trouble to go the extra mile to protect the environment. Whether you are an eco angel who has been green from birth, or you’re just beginning to make changes to help the environment, we want to hear about it.

You can nominate yourself, or someone you know, for an award in one of the below categories.

The Green Guardian Awards 2008 are open to everyone who is taking action to live a more sustainable lifestyle in Hounslow - at home, at school, at work and in the wider community.

So whether you know a budding David Attenborough, a granddad who grows their own veg, a keen cyclist, a local recycling hero or a business or school who are an example of sustainability in your community, nominate them for an award and give them the recognition they deserve.

Simply by nominating someone for an award you will actually be helping make this part of London a little bit greener in the future. There are winners for each individual borough taking part who will be invited along to a superb gala evening in November.

Please visit the Green Guardian website for more information and to enter yourself or nominate someone you know.

Good luck!
