Did you get your nomination in for our first ever design awards? The winners have now been chosen and were presented with their awards early in 2008.
Judges from CABE Space, Design for London and from private practice, BoyaskyMurphy Architects, were impressed by the amount of the development taking place in Hounslow and the variety of projects.
We would like to thank all of you who took part, from those who took the trouble to nominate projects, to our judges and advisors including Hounslow’s design champion, Cllr Barbara Reid, who gave up their time to visit the projects.
The awards have given us an opportunity to show how important good design is to the people of Hounslow.
If you are thinking of undertaking some building work, don’t forget the value of good design and that you have the right permissions before you start, and….watch out for our next design award scheme in 2010!
