Childcare

Our Family Information Service provides free up to date and impartial advice and guidance on the full range of Ofsted registered childcare and early years education in Hounslow.

We also provide information on leisure and parent/child activities that can help with your child's early years development.

The range of information that we hold includes:

  • Sure Start Children's Centres

  • Childminders

  • Private day nurseries

  • Pre-school playgroups

  • Before and afterschool clubs

  • Holiday play schemes

  • Mainstream school nurseries and information on starting school

  • Parent and toddler groups

  • Soft play centres

  • Nannies, au pairs and babysitters

  • Extended school provision for children and young people aged 5 - 19 years

We are available from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.  A voicemail facility operates on our helpline outside of these hours.  

We also offer an outreach service which operates at a range of local community locations such as libraries, children's centres, parent and toddler groups and baby clinics.
