Drugs and alcohol can have a major impact on the people who use them, as well as their family, friends and the wider community. Both drugs and alcohol can affect people’s mental health, physical health, financial wellbeing and their relationships.
Using and selling drugs such as heroin, cocaine, crack and cannabis is illegal and can result in a criminal record and being sent to prison.
If you or someone you know has a drug or alcohol problem, there is local help available. We work in partnership with other organisations to provide a range of drug and alcohol treatment services across the borough.
