Community Infrastructure Levy on new planning applications

From 1 April 2012, a new charge called the CIL (Community Infrastructure Levy) is being introduced to local developers which becomes payable to the Mayor of London. Money can be used to fund a wide range of infrastructure need as a result of a development.
